HOW AND WHEN WE WILL BEGIN HAVING CHURCH
HOW
1. Churches to practice safe distancing in determining when to open.
2. We are not under the 25% capacity rule, it is all about social
distancing.
3. Masks are not required at this time (Strongly recommended).
a. We will have a limited supply for those who need one.
b. We ask that you bring a mask if you have one.
4. We will have gloves available.
a. We will have hand sanitizer and soap.
6. We want to limit the restroom area as much as possible.
7. We will begin by having only one service on Sunday morning
At 10:30.
a. No nursery, no children’s church.
b. Kids are welcome to sit with families in the service.
c. Wednesday nights for a while will still be Facebook.
d. Sunday will be an abbreviated service like the one we are doing
now on Facebook.
8. We will be spread out in the auditorium.
a. There will be one pew separation from another pew.
b. With families sitting on the ends of the pews.
c. We will have markers on each pew to show the separation.
d. This also means that you may have to change pews to
accommodate the new social distancing sitting arrangement.
9. All Family members must sit with their families.
a. Individuals without family present must separate (Friends cannot
sit together).
10. We must refrain from physical contact (No hugging, handshakes).
11. We will limit the entrance to the auditorium through the
Double glass doors on the north side.
a. We will limit the exit through the same door.
12. No vans will be running to pick up kids.
WHEN
1. I am looking at Sunday, May 17.
2. This will give us 2 weeks to see with the new restrictions to
Determine the control of the virus.
3. If there is no major increase in the virus.
a. Then we will open church back up on Sunday, May 17.
REASONS WE COULD CANCEL
1. Now if any time before or after Sunday, May 17.
a. If there is a major spike in the virus we will go back to
having services online.
b. Some of the triggers of the virus going forward that would
cause us to cancel in person church services will be a spike in
new cases starting after Friday, May 1, and the hospital gets to
the point that they cannot take care of any new patients.
c. We would have to cancel services if someone showed up to
church with the virus but did not know they had it until after they
had come to church.
d. This would probably cause us to cancel church for at least
two weeks.
2. The last thing we want to become is a hot spot for the virus.
CAUTIONARY ADVICE
1. The Attorney General is still recommending anyone over
65 to stay at home to view church online.
2. You must determine for yourself to come or stay at home.
FACEBOOK SERVICES WILL CONTINUE EVEN WHEN WE RETURN
TO HAVING OPEN SERVICES.
Thank you for being patient and praying through all of this!
Thank you for your faithful and thoughtful financial contributions!
